Short Break from 30.12.22 to 2.1.23 at the Rob Roy Hotel, Aberfoyle. After Dinner we were entertained by Will Easton, who played guitar and sang. 170 + residents from various parts of the UK. Very enjoyable.

Hogmanay…After a 5 course dinner we were entertained by Chris MacKenzie. Very good singer who had all the residents dancing with a range of songs from the 1960’s through to the present day. Although he appeared as himself he is also a drag queen under the name of Rita Riot. (You can find him on Facebook). Such a brilliant entertainer. He continued through to ‘The Bells’ and beyond. 5 star act.

On 1.1.23 after our New Year Dinner we had ‘Big Garry’ from Aberfoyle entertain us, playing guitar and singing Scottish songs. Crowd participation with some songs was brilliant. He finished with ‘Flower of Scotland’.

The Rob Roy Hotel was very good. Full breakfasts consisted of a number of choices including the full breakfast. Dinners were very good. Rooms were clean and all the staff were nice and ready to help.

All in all the short stay for Hogmanay was first class. Ewen our driver from Simpsons, Rosehearty was good and connected brilliantly with all the passengers.
